With over 15 years of practical and design experience and a formal Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts, with an emphasis in spatial organization, sustainable design, community development, and residential design, our studio brings a refined eye and professional depth to every project.

Rooted in the visual arts, graphic arts and traditional design training as well as practical application, our approach balances creative vision with real-world functionality. Each plan is shaped by a deep understanding of how spaces flow, how the family within the home thrive, and how homes should feel.

The name Sophiera is a union of the personal and the poetic. “Sophie” was a beloved riding mare, graceful, intuitive, and quietly strong. Her spirit embodied the kind of beauty that doesn’t shout, but simply belongs.

“Ra,” the ancient Egyptian symbol of creation and illumination, honors the creative force that drives all great design.
